Antique Mary Neal Nettie Richardson Dog Portrait Painting Product Description and Details
:: A stunner of a portrait of a pointer dog (presumably) by well known listed artist Mary Neal "Nettie" Richardson (1859-1937). This is an early work of hers, dated 1891, and on the back it has a story of its origin and where it wound up. Beautiful painting with its story attached to the canvas to forever have along with it. Condition notes: chipping and breakage of wooden frame, a couple of holes in the canvas as shown in the photos -- could benefit from a cleaning and restoration. Measures 21.5" x 19" frame and painting within 15.5" x 14".
