:: This is an awesome vintage / antique circa 1890's-1905 kelleh size Bakshaish Persian carpet that features unique partial wool partial cotton foundation. It has a gorgeous allover herati motif with very apparent small influences of Caucasian style flower motifs in minor borders. Some very attractive, likely naturally derived top colors such as the blue + yellow shades. Condition notes: there is some oxidation and fade to the browns, one outer border reduced, two smaller patches (one approx. 4inx4in in one corner and another 2inx3in) and definite signs of wear all over the rug but overall, it is a stunning piece with quite the presence. Measures approximately 5' x 13'.
