:: Reminiscent of Safavid-era design traditions and possibly dating back to the 18th century, this antique Persian textile features a richly detailed botanical motif arranged in a rhythmic, repeating, pattern that creates a subtle kaleidoscopic effect across the field. The palette is warm and nuanced, with tones of terracotta, coral red, antique ivory, sand, and soft sky blue lending both depth and balance. This piece may have been truncated at some point, possibly to remove original tassels, and shows minor areas of loss consistent with age. The original backing remains intact and the rug may also contain silver thread. Size measures: 3'8" x 3'10"
