Print tear sheet:: Currently on sale reduced from $365! Persian Bijar scatter rug vintage circa 1925 that is incredibly colorful with a bit of a primitive looking tribal design. Slight abrash to dark blue and black field. Very charming carpet in near original condition. Ends have been carefully overcast to prevent loss. The wool of this carpet has retained a great deal of natural lanolin as it is quite healthy with very good luster and of very fine staple. The wool is hand spun with wonderful dye saturation. Even pile with spot areas of loss to selvages. Condition notes: the rug is clean with some slight curling to some of the wool, and there is one small area of tinting in a corner of the fringe. Measures in at the perfect scatter rug size of 1'10" x 2'8", and would look awesome as a wall hanging as well!
