:: If we didn't know any better, this would be a scene right out of the Grim art direction sketchbook. Amazing detail in this haunting yet serene woodscape. Trees so burly and tall they seem to grow off the page. Dated 1944 within the art piece. Signed in pencil under the etching in pencil by the prolific, yet unknown artist, P. Menim. This is 81/100 titled Rustico. An awesome original etching. Condition: Golden tint of age to paper. Small tears to top and bottom, particularly the top corners. One minor crease on lower left side. Full size measures 13.75" x 19.5" and cropped, the dimensions would be 9" x 13".
