:: This piece has such character! Most likely vintage circa 1940's-1950's, this is a unique red + silver step stool / step ladder that is made of wood (much less common over the commercial step stools of the later day made with plastic) and metal. It has a fantastic pre-mid-century + industrial look to it and would look lovely as a little piece for stacking books on in a library type space. Please note this is not a particularly sturdy piece and is best for decor and not standing on. Still stands though and certainly does not topple over, just folds out with a bit of a slithery feel. Other conditional notes is that it has some rust + wear to it as you can see in the photographs. Measures 33" tall when folded up and 26" x 22" when folded out.
