:: Very unusual collection set of lithograph prints by mid century modern artist Edgard Pillet (1912-1996). The booklet is titled Colour Offsets and has a paragraph detailing the new process of lithography. Limited edition of 1000, dated May 1956 by the Arts in Louisville Press at Louisville, Kentucky. Known for his abstract art, this collection includes eight pieces that are the staple of Pillet's vision and aesthetic. Authentic signature in ink by the artist on the cover of the book. A real unique group: you do not see these coming to the market. Keep the collection as it is, or frame each individually. Condition: Most all are in good condition attached to heavy gauge cardstock paper, exception being one which has detached. The outside booklet and folder is in delicate shape with the binding coming apart, rips, scratches, and a couple of minor stains. Full size measures 12.75" x 15.25" and cropped, the dimensions would be 9.5" x 10.75".
