:: Wow - A pair (yes being sold together!) of original photographs with Native American dance ceremony. Both are signed by the artist, one on front, the other on the reverse. Dated 1940, entitled SAN ILDEFONSO (INDIAN/DANCE), these are exceptionally beautiful portraits with amazing clarity and composition. What a unique piece of photojournalism. Would look fantastic framed. San Ildefonso Pueblo is located in New Mexico. The traditional name for San Ildefonso Pueblo is Po-woh-ge-oweenge, meaning "where the water cuts through". Condition: Excellent, both photographs are professionally mounted on mat board. Full size measures Each 15.25" x 12.5" and cropped, the dimensions would be 9.5" x 7.58".
