Original Signed W Dendy Sadler Etching Breach of Promise
:: Antique late 1800s, early 1900s rare signed etching by W. Dendy Sadler. This particular piece depicts a legal signing going on in a lawyer's book filled office and was titled "The Breach of Promise". It's hard to find these signed original etchings by Sadler, especially this early and it does seem to be a particularly rare original one. Comes complete with original, very early wooden and primitive looking frame (no glass). While it could use a new framing perhaps, it is quite unique to find the old original frame as this appears to be. Also signed by another individual opposite Sendy's. Size measurements approximately 25" x 30" with frame and actual measurements approximately 17" x 22". Condition as you can see in photos is a bit fragile, some slight discoloration on the piece and mat.
