:: What a relic, this is a very rare pre-Civil War 1860 wall map of New York City and its Environs that has been restored and re-mounted to new linen, all ready to be hung on the wall and enjoyed in all of its glory! This map predates the Brooklyn Bridge which was built in 1870 and it is just so amazing looking at it to see Central Park depicted, Williamsburg, Harlem, Astoria, and the list goes on. "From Actual Surveys under the direction of H. F. Walling Published by S.D. Walling". Original wooden dowel at the top with a new one on the bottom, this map is mainly all original but it has been restored and brought back to life. Measures a whopping 64" x 64".
