Rare 1920's Antique Genothalmic Shuron Medical Stool Product Description and Details
:: Rare and highly sought after vintage circa 1920s Shuron genothalmic stool that was likely used in a medical type of setting -- perhaps by a dentist, doctor or optician / ophthalmologist. Has art deco like curves on the base and the leather on the seat is still in tact (though seems a bit fragile with cracking). Amazing that some many details have remained original and intact given its age and propensity to repetitive use -- nail back trim is original, leather decent, original brownish paint along middle, and original steel castors. Just amazing! Condition notes: some rust, the lever to allow seat to go up and down does still work, leather is cracking a bit and is very stiff but still intact completely, overall slight signs of age and use. Measures 28" tall and has a 13" diameter.
