Reclaimed Antique Rug Fragment Footstool
Print tear sheet::Limited edition Old New House® exclusive patented Mod Tables® line made in-house in our Katonah NY studio, using reclaimed and repurposed awesome and unique antique early 1900s Persian Herati design hand knotted wool rug fragment which is securely wrapped around a piece of foam atop a solid wenge wooden slotted base that has been smoothly sanded with a clear, water based, matte finish. What a conversation piece of furniture that is comfortable, versatile and gorgeous! This item is intended as a footrest. Contact us if you are looking for a step stool as we can make a similar item upon request that would have the proper lateral supports. As the fragment is vintage, please note that there are signs of use and age like isolated wear / foundation showing, etc. as well as repairs made in house. Kindly note: Because of the natural characteristics of the wood it should be expected that it will expand and contract over time which may result in minor splits within the wood. Size measures 14.25" x 19.25" x 12".
