:: Very unique and beautiful circa 1800s antique wooden chair or stool with a rustic and primitive aesthetic. Amazing quality with very weathered wood and a chippy look to it! As you can see in the photographs, there is a mix of paint splatter and dark weathering of the wood -- adding to its very cool look. Presumably this is the bottom to what was once a chair with its backing top portion, but now it is a new kind of entity, showing the holes on the top where other wood pieces would have fit into, a nicely curved seat showing the connection of two planks of wood right in the middle and of course, the more useful and versatile size of what it is now. Is super comfy as a chair around the house, useful as a stool to put books or paperwork on, and would look wonderful with a piece of your home decor on top of it. The options are endless! Overall condition, this little thing tells a story and shows its age with markings, paint splatter, weathering, and scrapes, and it is still sturdy as ever. Measures 17" tall, the seat width is 15" and from the back to the front of the chair, it measures 15".
