:: This unfinished and haunting painting came with a collection of other Salvatore Aucello paintings. Although unsigned, it is every bit of his work. Who knows why this painting went unfinished, but the effect is beautiful. An abyss of white canvas with laced lines of a sketch lays below a portrait of blonde woman with a feminine and secretive element to her. One of a kind piece, vintage 1930s 40s. Chippy condition with signs of handling, overall intact. Measures 20" x 24".
