7x10 Stunning Persian Area Rug

:: Bold + quite stunning antique Persian Bijar rug in a nice large living room / area rug size. Conservative weaving date 1880's, however, we believe this could potentially be more in the range of mid 19th century. Excellent colors, beautiful design and unique antique character. A stunning piece with exquisite depth and range of colors. Very hard to find this type and age in any condition for this size and interesting design. Condition notes: Heavy wear and loss to either end. Worn selvage. Many of these carpets are reduced in size at this point, meaning on this piece the outer border could be removed entirely, overcast and new selvage. After a procedure like this, the only loss would be one dog eared corner which could be reconstructed through restorative reweaving. Not many would notice the loss if this procedure were performed since all inner and outer borders would be mirrored. In used vintage condition, this piece could benefit from restoration and cleaning one day down the road. Measures approximately 7'1" x 10'2".

Contrary to most other items in our shop, this is an all-sales final product due to the nature of its size and sale price.
