Vintage Mount Washington Felt Flag Pennant Product Description and Details

:: Vintage Mount Washington felt flag pennant circa 1971. A unique, likely homemade, mid-century souvenir from Mt. Washington, the tallest mountain in the Northeaster United States and part of the White Mountains in New Hampshire. Contains a mounted postcard / photograph of the summit showing the Mount Washington Observatory complex, the summit road loop, and various communication towers and weather equipment around a parking lot. Stitched on next to the card is a handwritten or hand-painted title panel on a triangular piece of paper that reads "Mt. Washington 1971". In good condition commensurate with age, exhibiting light creasing with no tears and perhaps minor oxidation and/or pinholes. Kindly reference photos for which of these may apply. Measures approximately 6" x 14".
