Vintage Ocean Beach New London Connecticut Felt Flag Pennant Product Description and Details

:: Vintage Ocean Beach New London Connecticut felt flag pennant circa 1970. A classic and simplistic mid-century souvenir from Ocean Beach located in New London, CT. White capitalized text and a simplistic drawing of a whale with water coming out of its spout can be found atop a red background while the ties and header are a golden yellow color. The previous owner noted in ink on the header the day of their visit in 1974 with the added note "Class Day". In fair condition perhaps showing tears, hard creases, slight sun fade/oxidation, light staining, pin holes, slight loss to the tip, and/or missing felt ties. Kindly reference photos for which of these may apply. Measures approximately 9" x 27".
