:: Oversized center medallion with interlaced scrolling vines adorned at either end by double tiered finials atop an intricate main field of sprawling vines, palmettes, blossoms in a wide range of colors, and highly elaborate cloudband design motifs in both horizontal and diagonal drawing. Shades are in a stunning, vivid, gem-like clarity. Colors and shades include: Ruby red, powder blue, navy blue, tangerine orange, lime green, sapphire blue, pink, ivory, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even short pile across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Mostly secure sides and ends. Carpet is exhibiting small isolated areas of old moth activity localized to the sides of the carpet and one or two small areas within the interior. One end measures 4'5" whereas the opposing measures 4'7". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. Photos are pre-wash and end finishing and securing to be an optioned preference by the buyer at point of purchase.
