:: Center medallion with serrated outwardly directed floral cross-section atop an aquatic main medallion field. Interior ground in a covered geometric Herati design motif with floral design elements and stemmed minor arabesques, wrapped in a double meandering vine inner and outer minor border. Very fine wool and weave. Colors and shades include: Black cherry red, sapphire blue, sky blue, navy blue, pale orange, dusty raspberry red, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Tatter to sides. A period correct painted carpet. Light color migration found in the ivory border. Fully secured ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Malayer rug made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 3' x 4'9".
