4x7.5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Stepped main medallion with delicate interior floral vinery in geometric relief and minor blossoms interconnected therein atop an abrashed narrow main field and stepped corner spandrel overlays loosely reciprocating the contour of the main medallion. Top prayer niche at one end, all wrapped by a meandering vine and blossom main and minor borders, with beautiful abrashes and high sheen imparted from light and dark sides. Colors and shades include: Dusty blush, ivory, beige, pink, tangerine orange, ocean green blue, pale cochineal red, sand and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Original side cord selvages intact. Fully secured sides and ends. Small localized areas of expert repile. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use!
