Vintage Engelas Rug Mat Product Description and Details

:: Covered field in minor botehs arranged in staggered rows and columns. Wrapped by a colorful meandering vine and blossom main border. Colors and shades include: Madder root rust, ivory, sapphire blue, navy blue, jade green, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Tatter to sides and ends. Minor loss to both ends and corners. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Engelas rug mat made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 1'8" x 2'5".
