:: Uniquely colored Jijim rug mat with repeating geometric star motif and alternating rows of diamonds. Slightly irregular weave inherent to village-type production often made for local use on primitive wooden looms. Colors and shades include aubergine eggplant purple, camel brown, sand, faded wine red, antique ivory, hints of faded tangerine orange. Condition notes: some light tatter to sides with secure ends. Minimal signs of use with some light staining. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand woven Turkish rug mat circa 1940's vintage. Exact size measures 1'4" x 2'6".
