Vintage Distressed Mahal Carpet Product Description and Details

:: Covered field in repeating panels in diamond shape contour outline arranged in lattice orientation with interior henna plant palmette design motif. Main border in a lotus blossom and vine with delicate buds scrolling throughout. Colors and shades include: Charcoal with a hint of royal blue, cherry red, terracotta, sage green, powder blue, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mahal carpet made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 10'4" x 13'7".
