:: Allover covered field in a unique, albeit classic, Farahan Sarouk style, yet a Mahal weaving. Intricately drawn and rhythmic arabesques, shadow design outline of a samovar motif delineating paneled regions within the field. Colors and shades include: Ivory, rich terra cotta, sky blue, powder blue, beige, teal, silver, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with light areas of foundation showing through. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mahal carpet made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 9'9" x 13'8".
