Amazing splendor in the design execution, known as the 'Bokhara' motif or 'elephant footprint' design (actually geometric floral designs) in the spirit yesteryear Tekke carpets. Plush, soft, silk-like pile. Superb quality, long-stapled wool with high sheen and luster adding to great dynamic and contrast from light and dark sides. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, chestnut, copper rust, ivory, and more. Condition notes: Like-new, original full pile height even across. Original side cord selvages intact. Fully secured sides and ends. Slight contour to shape, with one end measuring 10'2" as opposed to 10'4", within normal margin for type and age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Pakistani Bokhara carpet made in Pakistan circa 1980's vintage. Size measures 10'4" x 14'.
