10x14 Vintage Hamadan Carpet

:: Allover covered field in artistically drawn nuanced floral sprays and inwardly directed vases with a tree of life design motif. Gem like shades throughout in a period correct painted rug. Colors and shades include: Raspberry red, ruby red, navy blue, magenta, sky blue, sapphire blue, burgundy wine red, gold, emerald green, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. All four sides are machine bound with irreversible fabric and glue applied to the entire perimeter, approximately four inches. Some light isolated oxidation and minor staining in addition to the hard localized areas of wear and white knots, as seen in photos. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Hamadan carpet made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 10'3" x 13'11".
