11.5x18 Vintage Distressed Tabriz Carpet

:: Allover covered field of scrolling vines, decorative floral cross-sections, and germinating plants with cloudband stylized leaves and tendrils. A few scattered birds found perched throughout along with resting deer. Abrashes across, mainly confined to top third of the carpet. Great tone-on-tone throughout. Colors and shades include: Antique ivory, beige, sky blue, powder blue, sand, dusty mauve, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Extensive restoration throughout, mainly to the one end border. One or two areas isolated, approximately six by six inches, mainly found in the interior with slight yellowing. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Tabriz carpet made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 11'9" x 17'10".
