Vintage Fine Karaja Rug Product Description and Details

:: Classic triple single column center medallion with mirrored end medallions and hook-and-latch main medallion atop a covered field of serrated blossoms, geometric renderings of floral cross-sections, arabesques, and more. Maine border in a starburst design motif alternating in coloration and fill. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, dark mallard green, deep sky blue, brick red, jade green, blush rose, ivory, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Original polychromatic selvage mostly intact with one corner showing minor loss for a run of four inches. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Karaja rug made in Persia circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 2'7" x 3'11".
