Fine wool with a silk-like sheen imparting deep saturation and disparity between light and dark sides. Colors and shades include: Deep raspberry, dark cochineal red, navy blue, charcoal black, oxidized silver, coffee brown, and more. Condition notes: Even original pile height across. Original side cord selvages intact. Fully secured sides and ends. Loss to one end minor border. Very light minor moth etching to the reverse side, mostly cosmetic. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian German Sarouk square rug mat made in Persia circa 1930's vintage.
