2x3.5 Vintage Distressed Kars Rug

:: Simplistic diamond shaped pinwheel colored medallions inside alternating color filled panels atop an asymmetric weighted secondary medallion with checkered blossoms. Corner spandrels loosely reciprocate the contour of the main medallion in stepped contour and uniquely colored ground shades. Main border in a reciprocating zig-zag meandering vine design motif. Colors and shades include: Pink, silver, sandalwood, saffron yellow, pale tangerine orange, aubergine purple, platinum, dark chocolate brown, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple areas of repiling. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use!
