:: Bursting floral center bouquet with floral blossoms and vinery sprawling throughout the field in an unusual shade of an ivory ground, found to be more rare and unique for the type and age. Unusual minor botehs scattered throughout the main field and a rare serpent design inner and outer minor border in what is decidedly a transitional carpet of Farahan to Mohajeran Sarouk production. Period correct painted red shades throughout. Colors and shades include: Ivory, ruby red, navy blue, burgundy wine red, sapphire blue, cream, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Tatter to sides and ends. Some minor unique contour mainly found to be in the middle of the carpet in addition to recess of certain dye lots of the main field color change. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mohajeran Sarouk rug runner made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 2'1" x 4'.
