:: This Chinese rug features a spacious open field framed by a continuous floral vine border composed of stylized blossoms, scrolling tendrils, and lotus-inspired forms. The design reflects renderings of later Fette-Li and Art Deco-influenced Chinese weaving traditions, emphasizing clarity, symmetry, and negative space over dense ornamentation. Colors and shades include: Cobalt blue, ivory, sky blue, blush, apricot, celadon green and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Some signs of old etching from moth activity. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Chinese Art Deco rug runner made in China circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 2' x 3'10".
