:: Single column center medallions in alternating form between hexagonal concentric medallions and scalloped rectangular. Main field covered in arrowed blossoms and geometric buds in multi-tiered relief. Main border in a colorful starburst alternating floral design motif with main border in a serrated leaf and floral top view. Colors and shades include: Madder root red, sapphire blue, navy blue, jade green, terracotta, gold, dusty rose, and more. Condition notes: Areas of high and low pile height. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Expert restoration localized to one end. One end measures 3'1" whereas the opposing measures 3'7". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz rug runner made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 3'7" x 11'7".
