:: Covered field in floral guls with scrolled leaves in varying stage of opening, with each side bearing a rams horn stylized germinating motif atop an unusual seeded main field. Meandering vine main border with starburst design elements and barber-pole checkered vines interconnecting throughout. Colors and shades include: Pale sky blue, denim blue, platinum, ivory, beige and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end measures 3'4" whereas the opposing measures 3'7". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. Multiple repairs in varying degrees of expertise. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Bijar rug runner made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 3'7" x 11'9".
