3.5x5 Vintage Distressed Dargezine Rug

:: Roundel scalloped center medallion with interior scrolled serrated leaves adorned on either end by trefoil finials, sprawling blossoms and vines loosely delineating a shadow medallion. Corner spandrels loosely reciprocate the contour of the main medallion. Colors and shades include: Indigo blue, pale coffee brown, beige, sand, ivory, cobalt blue and more. Condition notes: Mostly even short pile across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Slight contour to shape, within normal margin for type and age. Minor reduction to one end. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Dargezine rug made in Persia circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 3'6" x 5'.
