:: Single column oversized floral medallions and palmettes atop a covered field of finned germinating plants, serrated leaves, and even a few scattered birds and fish. This is a period correct painted rug. Colors and shades include: Pale magenta, sapphire blue, dusty powder blue, chestnut, chocolate brown, and more. Condition notes: Areas of high and low pile height. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple repairs in varying degrees of expertise. Slight rippling on both sides. Minor reduction to one end. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mehriban rug made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 3'5" x 6'4".
