:: Sprawling serrated leaves in floral blossoms atop a partially open ground. Inner and outer minor borders in a reciprocating boteh design motif with main border in a simplistic floral arabesque and meandering vine design. Colors and shades include: Dusty rose, sandalwood, pale mallard green, sapphire blue, pale coffee brown, ivory, dusty saffron yellow gold, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Low pile height, likely shorn to match low areas. One end measures 3'2" whereas the opposing measures 3'4". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. An unusual original condition for size and age. Fully intact original plain weave, partial macrame, and fringe. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mehrivan rug made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 3'4" x 6'6".
