:: Unusually allover running channel of water design motif with intricate meandering waves pushing vertically through the carpet. Very intricate and detailed main border with rare design and fantastic palette. Colors and shades include: Antique ivory, platinum, silver, oxidized silver, charcoal, sky blue, pale teal green, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads and or low pile. Some light foundation poking through in one or two areas. Light loss to either end, one or two small splits to the edging although in its current state all original with no restorations and free of repairs. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Farahan Sarouk rug made in Persia circa 1890's vintage. Size measures 3'2" x 4'3".
