3x5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Large scale center medallion with quatrefoil oriented interior floral top view bouquet. Main medallion finished with minor finial germinating blossom atop an open field with corner spandrel overlays in quarter map of the main medallion. Main border in meandering vine and blossom design motif. Colors and shades include: Faded magenta, ivory, oxidized silver, pale slate blue, pale fuchsia, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple areas of repairs in varying degrees of expertise. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 2'11" x 4'11".
