:: Single center medallion with scalloped contour adorned by minor finials atop an abrashed field with corner spandrel overlays reciprocating the contour of the main medallion and in quarter map of same. Double niche design rendering at either opposing end in classic Safavid inspired dragon reciprocating relief. Abrashes across. Colors and shades include: Dusty blush, pale brick red, faded royal blue, oxidized silver, pale tangerine orange, seafoam sage green, chocolate brown, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end measures 3' whereas the opposing measures 3'2". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side.
