Vintage Distressed Serab Rug Runner Product Description and Details

:: Single column center medallion quatrefoil oriented geometric bouquets atop inverted coloration ground wrapped by a hooked envelope design detail and minor floral guls with angular leaves and speckled fill. Main border bearing great detail in a meandering vine, blossom and speckled floral cross section, with an amazing reciprocating pawn outer minor border. Colors and shades include: Ivory, platinum, madder root red, lime green, pale powder blue and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple repairs in varying degrees of expertise. Both ends reduced. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Serab rug runner made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 2'11" x 7'4".
