:: Classic Karaja motif with central hook and latch enveloped medallion, and two opposing mirror outer medallions. Atop a covered field of colorful geometric floral blossoms, guls, stems, minor buds and a turtle samovar partial Herati main border. Colors and shades include: Brick red, navy blue, sapphire blue, mallard green, blush, burgundy wine red, ivory and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Karaja square rug made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 4'8" x 5'2".
