:: Allover covered field of sprawling vines, floral bouquets with long stemmed vines, and heavy abrashes across. A late transitional piece that is between late Farahan and second quarter Sarouk. Colors and shades include: Burgundy wine red, gold, jade green, powder blue, sapphire blue, navy blue, blush, dusty rose, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Localized areas of recess to the pile from old moth nibbles, approximately 4"x8", to one border. Areas of bare selvage. A period correct painted rug Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Sarouk rug made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 4'5" x 6'4".
