:: Central floral top view medallion with stemmed vines bursting outward in expressive arabesques defining a partial turtle samovar relief finished in buds, blossoms and palmettes. Main medallion finished in a stepped contour with diamond shaped finials atop a covered field of lattice oriented floral design elements, with a main border in a paisley boteh and lotus flower rendering. Colors and shades include: Antique ivory, dusty brick red, earthen ochre green, dusty blush, powder blue and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Minor reduction to both ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Bakhtiari rug made in Persia circa 1940's vintage.
