Vintage Distressed Mahal Rug Product Description and Details

:: Center medallion with starburst center floral design motif adorned at either end by tiered finials atop a covered field of sprawling vines, scrolled tendrils, and buds. Corner spandrel overlays loosely reciprocate the contour of the main medallion with spiraled arabesques. Colors and shades include: Pale coffee brown, sand, beige, cream, antique ivory, and more. Condition notes: Wear across to foundation and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple repairs with in varying degrees of expertise. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mahal rug made in Persia circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 3'11" x 5'3".
