:: Scalloped center medallion atop a covered field in scrolling floral design elements in diminutive budded flowers. Classic Farahan Sarouk main border, with excellent balance between positive and neutral spacing. Colors and shades include: Dark denim blue, navy blue, ivory, dusty powder blue, dark blush, rose, and more. Condition notes: Large regions of recess and wear to foundation, paired with scattered areas of knot heads and low pile. At one time, the rug likely had touch-ups, which there is color migration of darker areas to lighter regions, evidenced in faint tinting. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Farahan Sarouk rug made in Persia circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 3'11" x 6'3".
