:: Oversized scalloped center medallion adorned at either end with layered finials atop a covered field of floral blossoms and delicate vinery interconnecting all. Inwardly directed corner spandrels in a trefoil contour reciprocating the general shape of the main medallion with unique layered blossoms in curvilinear drawing. Colors and shades include: Dark dusty navy blue, antique ivory, deep blush, dusty rose, powder blue, pale coffee brown, oxidized silver, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Several hard spots scattered throughout, not atypical for the type. Some minor light splits, although will suit fine flat on the ground of loosely rolled in transit. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Farahan Sarouk rug made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 3'11" x 6'6".
