Vintage Distressed Hamadan Rug Product Description and Details

:: Large scale center medallion with wide oversized finials in multi-tiered relief finished in a pomegranate design element. Corner spandrel overlays reciprocate the contour of the main medallion in quarter mapping of same. Colors and shades include: Sapphire blue, sky blue, peach, ivory, dark chocolate brown, bronze, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Professionally reduced by its outer minor border. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Hamadan rug made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 4'1" x 6'6".
