4x6 Vintage Distressed Anatolian Rug

:: Oversized center medallion with scrolling arabesques adorned at either end by trefoil finials atop a covered field of interconnected buds and blossoms. Corner spandrel overlays bear pomegranate fruit inwardly directed. Colors and shades include: Black cherry red, oxidized silver, antique ivory, faded burnt orange, sandalwood, cotton white, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Anatolian rug made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 4'2" x 6'2".
