4x6 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Concentric stepped center medallions with germinating shrubs and floral sprays wrapped by a floral top view main border. Colors and shades include: Pale brick red, dusty aubergine ivory, silver, chocolate brown, oxidized silver, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end measures more narrow than the other at 3'11 whereas the opposing measures 4'2", within normal margins for type and age. Localized areas of professional reweave. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1970's vintage. Size measures 4'2" x 5'9".
